The College Community
We are one of the largest local employers with 310 teaching staff (216 full-time) and 344 support staff (145 full-time).
The percentage of full-time teaching staff with (or working towards) teaching qualifications between 2007 – 2008 was 98% and remains at 98% in 2008 – 2009.
99% of established teaching staff registered with the Institute for Learning. All new teachers are supported to achieve a teaching qualification.
We are committed to continuously monitoring and improving our planning in relation to equality & diversity. This year, an Equality & Diversity Group was established to examine planning and a monthly meeting monitors progress.
A new Single Equity Scheme was put in place and an action plan agreed. The College is reviewing its performance against actions set.
