Every Child Matters
In 2003, the Government published a green paper called Every Child Matters which presented a new approach to the well-being of children and young people from birth to age 19. The Government's aim is for every child, whatever their background or circumstances, to have the support they need to:
- Be healthy
- Stay safe
- Enjoy and achieve
- Make a positive contribution
- Achieve economic well-being
With these aims in mind, we ensure that we promote a healthy, positive approach to study. This includes providing healthy food in our cafes and offering a wide range of sporting activities, but also using personal learning to focus on each student's journey. Supporting our students to help them reach their goals is very important to us, whether the support they need is personal, educational or financial.
