"My tutors have really helped me at the College - they've given me a new lease of life!"
“When I was at school, I wanted to be a footballer; sport has always been a real driving force in my life. I played football and cricket at a semi-professional level, but at a crucial point in my development I broke my ankle. But I have always believed that if you can’t play sports professionally you can do something else - in sports there are lots of different careers – you can do psychology, physiotherapy, strength and conditioning or nutrition.
It was my Dad’s idea for me to come to Bromley College. I wanted to come to college to meet new people – I had just finished school with the same people around me for five years and I wanted to have a new experience. When I first started, it was very different from school. I worked my way through the levels and it has stood me in good stead.
My tutors have really helped me at the College. They’ve shown me that there is a lot more to education than just coming in, doing your work and going home. They have given me a new lease of life! They’ve done a lot for me throughout my time at College and I’m now thinking about going on to University.”
