“I came to study here from Germany to improve my chances of study and work. My cousin studied science at Bromley College and I thought if she could do it, it would be a good experience for me as well.    College is really different compared with Germany – we don’t have spaces like the Common Room to meet with friends after classes or any of the activities they run here.  

 

The atmosphere here makes you want to study and stay focussed. You have to take responsibility for your own achievement, but the tutors are really kind and friendly and you can see that they actually have a passion for teaching and want to achieve.   The students are really friendly – everybody knows each other and the atmosphere is great.

 

I would like to work in insurance in the future so I’m going to do a degree in management and accounting.   I will probably study at Bromley College because it’s affiliated with the University of Greenwich and I can do my studies locally."
