"My parents have their own business and I have always wanted to follow their example. I want to be my own boss and make my own way in the world. I love clothes an ideally I'd like to run my own clothing company one day, which is why I chose to study the BTEC National Diploma in Business.
I would definitely recommend the College to other people. It's a great place to study, it has a lot of facilities and everybody is really helpful and friendly. The support is brilliant: I've had a lot of careers advice and guidance on the courses as well.
We've all had help with our CVs and with job searching. Our tutors have got us to look at jobs now and try to march our skills to current vacancies,. It's been useful looking at what potential you have and what you need to develop to make yourself more employable. Out tutors all encourage us to develop a career plan so that we are prepared for the world of work when we leave."
