Dates: Thursday 2 September, 11am - 7pm and Friday 3 September, 11am - 3pm.

It’s not too late to apply for a course starting this September!


Come to our Open Enrolment days and find out about full and part-time courses starting this September. Take the first step and enrol on a course that will give you real skills for the real world.

There are courses| available at all levels in a huge range of subjects|. When you come to enrol you can talk to our guidance staff about your next steps after school or college. You can also find out about finance|, welfare and personal support| for your studies.

What to expect on the day:


• The chance to speak to our Advice & Guidance team to find the right course for you
• The opportunity to talk to tutors about the course you’d like to study*
• Completion of enrolment forms
• Initial assessments: all students must complete a computer-based maths and English assessment. Please allow up to an hour and a half for this.

*Places are limited on some courses, please ask on the day.

Essentials that you must bring with you:


• Your passport
• If you are not a British or European Union National you must also bring evidence of your right of abode in the UK
• Proof of previous qualifications such as GCSEs. We need to see your exam slips, a letter from your school or your certificates or we cannot give you a place.
• Proof that you are in receipt of benefits

Tuition fees:


Students aged 16-18 on further education courses do not pay tuition fees.
If you are aged 19 or over on the 31st August 2010 you may not have to pay tuition fees if you receive Job Seeker’s Allowance or a means tested benefit, eg Housing Benefit or are eligible for the remission (please bring proof with you).

Already accepted a place at Bromley College?


Please note: if you have already accepted a place on a course, you will receive a letter w/c 16th August confirming your specific enrolment date and time on either the 31st August or 1st September.

You must ensure that you attend at your allocated time as you may lose your place. You can arrange for a representative to bring in your GCSE results on your behalf – please see your letter for more details.
