Skills for Employment
If you’re registered unemployed, have been made redundant, or are at risk of redundancy, we are offering a new programme of training to help you back to work.
Our Skills for Employment programme offers advice and guidance, training and skills to make getting back into employment easier. We offer a range of options, from one-day courses to longer programmes depending on individual needs.
Our programmes include:
- CV writing and interview techniques
- Introduction to Microsoft Office 2007
- Business Start-up course
- First Aid
- Food Safety
- Health & Safety
- Professional Trainer Certificate
If you have been unemployed for between 6 and 12 months we are also able to offer support towards accredited qualifications.

Please note: funding is available if you are over 19 and either live or work in Bexley, Bromley, Croydon, Greenwich, Kingston, Lewisham, Merton, Richmond or Sutton. Eligibility criteria are subject to change and proof of identity and employment status are required.
