The Prince's Trust Team Programme
The Prince’s Trust Team Programme is a free 12-week personal development course for 16 – 25 year olds. Taking part will help young people get the jobs they want.
It’s ideal if you want to develop your confidence, motivation, communication and life skills. You’ll get to work as part of a team and complete projects in the local community.
Is it for people like me?
If you are 16 - 25, yes! It's free and will not affect your Jobseeker's Allowance. It's ideal for those who want to improve their confidence and for those whose qualifications are holding them back.
The Programme will give you the opportunity to develop key life skills such as communication, problem solving, and working as part of a team, all whilst undertaking challenges which will help the local community and environment.

What happens on the course?
The Prince’s Trust Certificate in Employment, Teamwork and Community Skills is a portfolio based qualification with no exams to sit.
You will:
- be part of a team of 15 people for 12 weeks
- take on community projects of your choosing
- have an action-packed residential week
- get two weeks' work experience.
