General information

This is a six week evening course and covers various make-up applications to include day, evening, corrective and fantasy make-up, and health and safety and hygiene.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in cosmetic make-up and is also suitable for those working in the beauty industry to advance their knowledge.

Students will receive a Bromley College certificate on completion of the course.

Course content

The course will cover various make-up application techniques for various skin types, textures, colours and occasions.  Health and safety and aftercare advice will also be covered.

Teaching and assessment

Teaching will be led by demonstrations followed by practical sessions.

Progression

Upon successful completion of this course, students can progress on the Level 2 Beauty Therapy course (Make-up route).
