Apprenticeships: earn while you learn!
If you're looking for a job that enables you to carry on learning, or are already in employment and want to gain further qualifications, an Apprenticeship could be the option for you.
Apprenticeships are great way to learn on the job, build up your knowledge and skills, gain a qualification and earn money at the same time!
Apprenticeship programmes have grown and developed in the last few years and we're proud to offer a wide range of apprenticeships in the following areas:

- Beauty Therapy |
- Childcare |
- Construction (Bricklaying| or Carpentry|)
- Customer Service|
- Electrical Installation |
- Hairdressing |
- ICT|
- Motor Vehicle |
Apprenticeships are open to people aged 16-65 and you must already be in employment in the area in which you choose to study. You will be employed four days a week and come to College one day a week* to work towards the relevant qualification.
The training is free**, and there are two levels available. You can study to NVQ Level 2 over one to two years, the equivalent of studying for GCSEs, GNVQ intermediate or BTEC First qualification and provides Key Skills training and where relevant technical certificates.
Advanced Apprentices can study to NVQ Level 3 for two to three years, the equivalent of studying for A Levels, HND or BTEC and provides Key Skills training and where relevant technical certificates.
